Figurative Language

Today we reviewed our Unit 30 Spelling words for our last test on Friday!   We completed workbook 119-120 and made extra credit word searches.

We also worked on Grammar workbook pages 99-100 as we discussed and learned about adjectives.

Tomorrow we will be reading about Paul Bunyan's life as an adult in the story The Bunyans.    This reading story will be our homework assignment tomorrow night.  This story is rich in figurative language, so we spent a good amount of time reviewing alliteration, personification, similes, metaphors, puns, proverbs, etc.
