Linking & Action Verbs
In Grammar we have been working on Linking and Action Verbs. Linking Verbs are is, am, are, was, were. Linking verbs connect two parts of a sentence. The dog is cute. Action verbs show motion or movement. He ran to the store.
Block 1 is listening to the read aloud Woof , and Block 2 is listening to Mr. Lemoncello's Library. Block 2 is working on the novel study Stone Fox.
Rocket Town is today. Report cards and Winter AIMS scores were sent home today.
Next week is Spelling 23. I accidentally flip-flopped the Unit 23 and Unit 22 Spelling CHALLENGE words. Please study the CHALLENGE WORDS on the REVISED newsletter.
Spelling City - Practice games to play at home
Filed trip permission slips were sent home today for the Joliet Agriculture Expo on March 23. There is a $2.00 transportation fee. Pizza and pop are provided to the students as a snack. We will return in time for lunch.
