Today we prepared for Spelling Review Unit 10 by completing workbook pages 39-40. Students may create extra credit word searches by hiding these words. Searches need to be turned in by Wednesday in order for me to copy them for the class. Our test is on Friday.

We also are working on our preposition treasure maps. Prepositional phrases are groups of words that tell location, time, and movement, such as "Over the river, and through the woods, to Grandmother's house we go."
We also started working on expository essays about our Three Branches of Government. Today we wrote our introductory paragraph.
We prepared in advance for tomorrow by learning our vocabulary words for Emerald's Eggs. We completed Practice workbook page 53. Tomorrow night will be the story homework assignment.
Tomorrow is library.
Candy can be sent in for the troops if you have extra Halloween goodies.
