We also are working on our preposition treasure maps.  Prepositional phrases are groups of words that tell location, time, and movement, such as "Over the river, and through the woods, to Grandmother's house we go."

We also started working on expository essays about our Three Branches of Government.  This is a work in progress!  We have learned that the lawmakers are called Congress, and they are the Legislative branch.  The President is the head of the Executive branch which makes sure that laws are followed.  The Judicial branch and how this branch makes sure that laws are fair.  We are currently typing our essays.
