Because of Winn-Dixie

Today was our Agriculture in the Classroom field trip.  We enjoyed learning how farm products are used in our daily life.

Today's reading homework story is to reread "Because of Winn-Dixie" in our Storytown book.  Students have a green sheet to be signed for homework.

Here's a link our eBook.

Report cards were sent home Friday.

We have been learning about figurative language.  Figurative language includes similes, metaphors, personification, onomatopoeia, alliteration, and idioms.  See the link below for examples of each.
