Today we read the expository nonfiction test, Mountains. This book is found on pages 316-329 in Storytown. Here's the online link:

We took a long time to read this story together in class, as we discussed the four types of mountain formations in great detail. Tomorrow we will be creating posters to show the ways that mountains are formed. This project will take the place of our story test. Students will use their knowledge of vocabulary words to show understanding and to provide examples of each kind of mountain. Students are expected to reread this story tonight as homework. We also completed our Practice workbook page 67 for vocabulary.
