Today we took our Homophone Spelling test. We also went on our morning field trip to see the Liberty band/orchestra perform.

We read  "Dinosaurs and Dragons" this week.  We are continuing to work on dinosaur and dragon projects and descriptive writing this week.  Next week we will be reading a non-fiction text about the Grand Canyon.

Here's the eBook for our Storytown selection this week, Dinosaurs and Dragons.  We started reading this story today and will continue tomorrow.  Tomorrow is also an LRC day, so library books are due.

We are continuing PARCC testing all week.  This week we are finishing our Language Arts tests.

We've discussed Unit 27 Spelling words, and will have our test this Friday,  April 22.    These words all have Latin roots (spect, struct, graph, vis) that are used as the core of each word.

PARCC Tests Continue

We are continuing PARCC testing all week.  This week we are finishing our Language Arts tests.
