Today we read the story "Mighty Jackie the Strikeout Queen," a true story about Jackie Mitchell. Jackie was a woman ballplayer who was able to strike out both Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig in 1931. Here's a song that we enjoyed listening to in class that summarizes the story.
